What is Grinding

Grinding is a rough machining process that utilizes a crushing wheel or grating belt as the cutting instrument.

It is generally used to eliminate material from a workpiece, to deliver a smooth completion on the outer layer of the workpiece, or to eliminate burrs from the surface.

Grinding can be performed wet or dry, and can be performed on various materials, including metals, plastics, and earthenware production.
